激光通讯具有讯息容量大,保密性能好,抗干扰能力强等优点,世界各国都正在研究。光导纤维直径及其均匀性是决定激光通讯传输性能的重要参数。一般直径只有150微米左右的石英丝,要求测量误差不大干±1微米。“光导线”由成千上万根光导纤维组成,每一根丝的直径均需经过精密测量,难度很大。去年初,邮电科学研究院、玻璃研究所等单位,曾向我院提出过这种测试项目,希望能在拉丝过程中自动检测,并由检测结果控制丝的直径。我们通过实验,研究并分析了使用透射干涉法测量石英丝直径的可能性,取得了一些成果,现叙述如下:
Laser communication has the advantages of large message capacity, good confidentiality, strong anti-interference ability and other countries in the world. Optical fiber diameter and its uniformity are important parameters that determine the transmission performance of laser communication. General diameter of only about 150 microns quartz wire, measurement error is not large ± 1 micron. The “light guide” is made up of thousands of optical fibers. The diameter of each wire needs to be precisely measured, which is very difficult. At the beginning of last year, such institutes as the Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, Glass Research Institute and other institutes once proposed this test project to our institute, hoping to detect automatically during the drawing process and control the diameter of the wire from the test results. Through experiments, we have studied and analyzed the possibility of measuring the diameter of quartz wire by using the transmission interference method, and achieved some results. The results are as follows:
