世界历史是美国中小学社会科的重要组成部分。根据美国教材委员会(American Textbook Council)的调查,1霍尔特·麦克杜格尔出版社的初中《世界历史》教材采用量最大。本文着重从历史学科能力,特别是历史批判性思维能力的角度,对《世界历史》教材进行分析。霍尔特出版社的初中《世界历史》学生用书共一册808页,供6~8年级学生采用。此教材设计的最大特色是关注学科能力的培养,体现在:1.关注能力分类及组合
World history is an important part of the social sciences in primary and secondary schools in the United States. According to a survey conducted by the American Textbook Council, 1 Holt McDougall Press uses the largest volume of “world history” textbooks. This article focuses on the “history of the world” textbook from the perspective of historical subject ability, especially the historical critical thinking ability. Holt Publishing’s junior high school “World History” student book a total of 808 pages, for 6 to 8 grade students. This textbook design is the most important feature of the development of academic ability, reflected in: 1. Focus on ability classification and combination
