我们爬上了巴别塔。人类间的文化交流自古就充满着奇幻、冒险与美好。七百多年前,威尼斯的帅小伙马可.波罗游历中国,《马可.波罗游记》写道,杭州是世界上最美的城市,商业兴隆,有12种行业,每种行业有12000户。城中有一个大湖(即西湖),周围达30英里,风景优美。从杭州前往威尼斯的飞机上,我翻看着意大利文学大师卡尔维诺的小说《看不见的城市》,马可.波罗对沿途城市的描述使得忽必烈汗几乎丧失了统御巨大疆土的快乐与自信。
We climbed Babel. Cultural exchanges between human beings have been full of fantasy, adventure and beauty since ancient times. Seven hundred years ago, Venice’s handsome guy Marco Polo traveled to China. “Marco Polo Travels” wrote that Hangzhou is the most beautiful city in the world. There are 12 kinds of businesses in 12 industries, each with 12,000 Households. The city has a large lake (West Lake), around 30 miles, the beautiful scenery. From Hangzhou to Venice on the plane, I looked at the Italian literature master Calvino’s novel “invisible city”, Marco Polo description of the cities along the way makes Kublai Khan almost lost control of the huge territory Happy and confident.
