With the development of China’s automobile, tractor and internal combustion engine industries, the unit using camshaft grinding machines is increasing day by day. The majority of users have put forward the urgent request of the manufacturer to provide cam-type molds. In the factory party committee’s leadership and support, the establishment of a combination of three test team from March 1976 to May 1977 one after another in our factory product M8312-type camshaft grinder on the “cam by a counter-counter-mode and its exchange ”test. After a series of counter-grinding and grinding tests, we tentatively found some rules on the various factors that affect the accuracy of the cam curve.
