Introduced the Danieli Cornell panel cooler lining and cooling concept and introduced the Corus IJM uiden 6 blast furnace with a 16-year service. Following the continuous production of 34.3 million tons of hot metal, the hearth and hearth area of this blast furnace was recently overhauled. The design of the Upper Iridium IJmuiden No.6 blast furnace at the upper breech area, the waist area and the shaft area was very good and only slight erosion was seen in the above sections. Danieli Corinth is also using the same design on many other blast furnaces for a very long furnace life.
