对外汉语教材课文生词的英文译释中忽略词语文化涵义的现象比较普遍,这对留学生的汉语学习造成了一定的影响。本文试图分析文化词语的英文译释中对其文化涵义的疏漏给留学生汉语学习造成的负面影响,并从词汇翻译和词汇教学的角度就如何避免这种影响提出自己的浅见。
The omission of the meanings of words and words in the English translations of textual words in the textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language is quite common, which has exerted some influence on the students’ Chinese learning. This article attempts to analyze the negative influence of the omission of its cultural meanings on the Chinese learning of foreign students in the English translation of cultural words and put forward their own opinions on how to avoid such influences from the perspective of vocabulary translation and vocabulary teaching.
