Copper engraving is a kind of print, because the material used for painting is named after the copper plate. Copper engraving is characterized by the use of carved knife on a smooth flat copper on the portrayal, and then use copper printing, making copies. The common method of making copper engraving is the etching method. Depicted before painting a layer of anti-corrosion wax on the copper plate, and then carved out with a knife or needle image, and then corrosive acid etching solution. In this way, after the formation of grooves engraved place, the ink will fill the grooves in the printing, wipe off excess ink layout, through the roller pressure so that the ink in the groove printed on the paper. This metal material of copper plate has moderate hardness and is easy to engrave and shape. Therefore, the copper engraving is extremely expressive and vivid.
