单面焊双面成型时,若采用衬垫,不仅能辅助焊缝背面的良好成型,而且便于操作。现介绍一种简单的焊管衬垫——玻璃丝绝缘带。该法特别适用于焊接小管。衬垫的准备:取一根长度大约100～200毫米的、直径略小于管件内径的圆钢,在其中部缠上厚度约2毫米的玻璃丝绝缘带即可。管件对中后,将这种衬垫插入管中接头处,便可进行焊接。为了便于取圆钢,有时在圆钢端部事先接上一根钢丝带住。
