可见光通信(VLC)技术是一种新型的无线光通信技术,它兼具照明和通信,有许多优点及广阔的应用前景,已成为近年来通信领域研究的热点。发光二极管(LED)是VLC系统中常用的光源,LED具有较强的非线性,会显著降低VLC系统的性能。为了补偿LED的非线性失真,研究人员已经提出了多种附加失真补偿方法,主要包括预失真补偿技术和后失真补偿技术。对这两类技术中的不同方法进行了探讨,比较总结了它们的特点,预失真技术实施简单但不符合成本效应,而后失真技术不需额外电路但所需的计算复杂度较高。这为深入理解和进一步研究LED非线性补偿技术提供了参考。
Visible light communication (VLC) technology is a new type of wireless optical communication technology. It has many advantages and broad application prospects, and has become a hot spot in the field of communication in recent years. Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are commonly used light sources in VLC systems. LEDs have strong non-linearity and can significantly reduce the performance of VLC systems. To compensate for the nonlinear distortion of LEDs, researchers have proposed various additional distortion compensation methods, including predistortion compensation and post-distortion compensation. The different approaches in these two types of technologies are discussed and their characteristics are summarized. The predistortion technique is simple but not cost-effective, and the post-distortion technique does not require extra circuitry but requires a high degree of computational complexity. This provides a reference for further understanding and further research of LED nonlinear compensation technology.
