代谢综合征是以中心性肥胖、胰岛素抵抗、高血压、高三酰甘油血症、低高密度脂蛋白胆固醇、糖耐量下降或2型糖尿病为主要特征的综合征。脂肪细胞因子在代谢综合征发病中起了很重要的作用。Visfatin是日本科学家Fukuhara在2005年发现的一种新的脂肪细胞因子。现对代谢综合征的定义发展、脂肪因子visfatin及代谢综合征与visfatin的研究进展进行综述。 Metabolic syndrome is a syndrome characterized by central obesity, insulin resistance, hypertension, hypertriglyceridemia, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, impaired glucose tolerance, or type 2 diabetes. Adipocyte cytokines play a very important role in the pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome. Visfatin is a new adipocytokine discovered by Japanese scientist Fukuhara in 2005. The development of the definition of metabolic syndrome, the development of visfatin and metabolic syndrome and visfatin are reviewed.
