此国际会议(Cirum-Pacific Energy and Mineral Resources Conference,略称PEMRC) 预计1974年8日26～30日在美国夏威夷州火奴鲁鲁召开。由美国石油地质学学会主办,并与矿床学会及太平洋沿岸各国有关学会共同筹备。会议目的包括:展望环绕太平洋的各区域的陆地及沿岸的能源和矿物资源的利用现状及未来;对拟定合适的地区及方法以便进行最有效的勘查方面加以考察;交流有关能源及矿物资
The International Conference (Cirum-Pacific Energy and Mineral Resources Conference, PEMRC) is expected to be held at Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S.A. from 26 to October 30, 1974. Organized by the American Petroleum Geology Society and co-organized with the Institute of Mineral Deposits and the relevant societies of the Pacific Rim. The objectives of the conference include: looking into the current and future use of energy and mineral resources on land and coasts in all regions of the Pacific Ocean; examining the development of suitable areas and methods for the most effective exploration; exchanging information on energy and minerals
