The Leonton bridge of Leon-en is the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. The bridge is constructed by BOT and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in December 2004. Due to frequent earthquakes and latent crustal activity, the poor foundation conditions have brought difficult problems for bridge structural engineers and raised serious challenges. The designer adopted the “parcel method” developed in this paper to reinforce the foundation, prefabricated the giant caisson in a dry dock, poured and sinked after the float was put in place, built an independent and rigid tower piers consolidation system on it, and in order to adapt to the tiny movement of the crust, Earthquake displacement and temperature changes and other factors, the use of continuous bridge beam completely suspended floating system. Deep-water foundation construction has its own way, with the tug boat construction and large prefabricated caissons assembly to speed up the construction process
