3月12日获悉:Digital 与实达集团合资组建的合资公司实迪计算机(福建)有限公司在福州正式宣布成立。这显示了企业计算解决方案领先的供应商 Digital 对中国市场的高度信心及投资承诺。实迪计算机有限公司的投资规模近3000美元,其中 Digital 公司占51％,实达集团占49％。公司建立后,主要生产 Digital 品牌的基于最新的奔腾二代及 MMX 的 PC 桌面电脑和服务器,计划在1998年二季度投入大规模生产,产品主要在国内进行销售,今后也会销往亚太区的其他国家。另外,在今年“3·15”消费者权益日到来之时,实达电脑全面启动了它的“蜂巢工程”。“蜂巢工程”是实达电脑的服务品牌,是由实达电脑的客户服务中心、维修代理商及维修连锁店等组成的富有层次的、紧密联系并具有强大覆盖能力的服务网络,目标是建立多品牌的中立服务平台,实施售前、售中及售后的一体化服务,形成遍布各地的巨型“蜂巢”。
