The well-known Pritzker Architecture Prize was established by the Hyatt Foundation in 1979. The prize is awarded annually to an architect who is living in recognition of the outstanding qualities of his intellectual, imaginative and responsible character in architectural design and the lasting and outstanding contribution made to the built environment and humanity through architectural art. For many years, the Pritzker Prize for Architecture was like a machine for the selection of masters of architecture, with sharp eyes and precision, and most of the winners were truly worthy of the name. It seems to be a self-contained system, starting with the first winner Philip Johnson (1979) and ending with IM Pei (1983), Takeshi Tanaka (1987), Rem Koolhaas (2000), Peter Zolthorre ), Sketching out a far-reaching impact of modernism and post-modern ideological trend of architecture. In only 30 years, the Pritzker Architecture Award has risen rapidly, becoming the supreme award recognized by the construction industry, and is praised as “the Nobel Prize in Architecture”. At present, our country is in an era of rapid economic and social development and a large number of buildings are constantly emerging. In order to boost the development of the architectural design industry in our country, we hereby give a full and detailed report on the architectural design concepts and the main architectural works of the recipients of the Prize for Building Prizes in the column entitled “Off-site Acquisition.” And reference!
