黄瓜是由雌花经受粉后发育形成的,雌花数最的多少,直接影响黄瓜的产量。因此,应采取适当措施,增加黄瓜雌花分化量,为提高黄瓜产量打下基础。黄瓜的花芽分化开始于发芽后10日左右,当第1叶展开时,生长点已分化12节,其中除最上3节外,各叶腋均已有花芽分化,但性型尚未确定。当第2叶展开时,叶芽已分化至第14~16节,同时,第3~5节花的性型已确定,到第7叶展开时,第26节叶芽已分化,花芽分化至第23节,同时第16节花的性型已确定。因此,要增加雌花数量,必须在苗期采取措施,养成孕育大量雌花的壮苗,为早熟丰产打下良好基础,具体措施如下:1.苗期夜间低温处理即在第1叶至第4~5叶时,也就是说在子叶展开后10~30天当中,每天夜间用14~15℃的低温进行处理,可有效提高雌花数量。
