管道检测器利用管道内介质产生的压力实现自运行,完成对管道缺陷的检测。为保证检测器的检测精度,要求其运行速度不高于5 m/s。由于天然气管道介质流速过快,提出了搭载速度控制装置调节检测器运行速度的方法,介绍了速度控制装置工作原理,研制了扇叶型和锥筒型两种通过控制泄流通道面积来调节检测器运行速度的速度控制装置,通过将里程轮提供的速度信号与控制程序预设速度区间进行实时对比,利用电机提供的驱动力控制速度控制装置的运行,实现对检测器运行速度的实时调控,将速度调节至预设区间内。该装置通过了试验与工业化应用,工作正常,可满足工业现场工况条件。
