内山完造先生是从事中日友好的先驱。1927年与鲁迅先相识、相知结为挚友;在此前后,与郭沫若、郁达夫、欧阳予倩等文化界人士还有广泛的接触,加深了对中国人民的了解和同情。1947年他回到日本,即从事日中友好活动;新中国建立后,更是最早推行日中贸易、日中文化交流的积极倡导者之一,直至1959年他在中国北京逝世。根据内山本人的遗愿,葬于中国上海西郊万国公墓。所以内山完造先生的名字,在中日两国,几乎成了中日友好的象征。内山完造逝世后,他的胞弟内山嘉吉先生继承了其兄长的事业,在东京继续经营内山书店,并积极进行日中友好活动,内山完造的老朋友也都活跃在日本各条战线上。成为日中友好活动的积
Mr. Uchiyama is a forerunner of Sino-Japanese friendship. In 1927, he met with Lu Xun and became close friends. Before and after this, he also had extensive contacts with such cultural figures as Guo Moruo, Yu Dafu and Ouyang Yuqian, deepening their understanding and sympathy for the Chinese people. After returning to Japan in 1947, he engaged in friendly activities between Japan and China. After the founding of New China, he was one of the earliest advocators of Japan-China trade and Japan-China cultural exchanges until his death in Beijing, China in 1959. According to Nei Shan’s own will, buried in the western suburbs of Shanghai, China World Cemetery. Therefore, the name of Mr. Uchiyama completed in Japan and China almost became the symbol of friendship between China and Japan. After the death of Uchiyama, his brother, Mr. Uchiyama, inherited the business of his brother, continued to run the Nei Shan Bookstore in Tokyo and actively carried out friendly activities between Japan and China.
