前言由于能源的影响,要求在燃料供应减少的情况下还要增产粮食。前些年一直以“总的用户成本效果”(total user cost effectiveness)作为主要因素。但由于燃料的供应和价格的变化,全面的“能量效率”(energy efficiency)将在农业设备的设计、制造和使用上更加突出。从能源上看,在美国农用车辆燃料消耗还是在减少着。从1967—1973年约减少20%,从51亿加伦减到41亿加伦。从相对数字来看,1955年农用车辆的燃料消耗占12%,到1973年只占3.5%。尽管总的燃料消耗量在减少,农产品却增加了19%。农产品的净增加值是发动机燃料指数的55%。
Preface Due to the impact of energy, it is also required to increase grain output even with a reduced fuel supply. In previous years, “total user cost effectiveness” has been the main factor. From an energy point of view, the fuel consumption of agricultural vehicles in the United States is still decreasing. A reduction of about 20% from 1967-1973, from 5.1 billion Gallinals to 4.1 billion Gallons. In relative terms, agricultural vehicles consumed 12% of fuel in 1955 and accounted for only 3.5% in 1973.
