语言是用来交流思想,传递信息,达到理解与协调,进而影响和调节相互关系的工具。中轻度智力落后儿童受智力因素的影响,感知能力低下,主动探求意识差,学习范围狭窄,大脑中贮存的词汇少,从而造成了语言的理解和运用方面的障碍,给人际间的语言交流交往带来了较大困难。因此,中轻度智力落后儿童语言能力的培养,要注重抓住学生学习生活的各个环节,有目的、有意识地强化引导其对语言的感知、获得、理解、记忆和运用,积累储备较为丰富的语言材料,逐步提高语言思维、语言运用的能力,引导学生更好地参与社会交往、适应社会。
