One of the important and interesting problems in the binary typhoons is the two tropicalcyclones rotating around each other (here after in brief, use RAEO). The main objective ofthe present paper is to show laboratory experiments on modeling a pair of RAEO typhoons.Some results are obtained in the following points: (i) The effective initial distance for RAEOof binary typhoons, (ii) the tracks of the model binary typhoons under RAEO during theirmerging process and the estimation of the rotating speed of RAEO in the binary typhoons,(iii) the structures of the vertical and horizontal circulations and the mass exchange and (iv)the variations of the temperature field of the binary typhoons during merging process.
