Objective To investigate the compliance of glycosylated hemoglobin (A), blood pressure (B) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (C) in community diabetic patients and to explore the relationship with renal function parameters. Methods A total of 388 diabetics diagnosed in ≥45-year-old people who participated in the physical examination of a community in Shanghai were investigated. Blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, lipids, serum creatinine and urea nitrogen were measured. Results In this survey, only three of ABC reached the standard of 1.8%, 34.0% of the patients did not meet the three indicators, 45.9% of patients only one standard. Including glycosylated hemoglobin compliance rate was 54.6%, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol compliance rate was 25.0%, blood pressure compliance rate was only 8.2%. Serum creatinine and urea nitrogen levels and the rate of increase with age increased, and found no correlation with the standard ABC. Conclusion The comprehensive control of ABC in diabetic patients in this community is at a low level. Effective control of blood pressure and blood lipids will help increase the overall level of diabetes control.
