几番春潮汹涌,冲破了两岸隔绝几十年的坚冰。 今年以来,海峡两岸经贸交流合作乘邓小平同志南巡谈话的春风横扫大陆,改革开放再掀高潮之势,热浪滚滚,令世人瞩目。 从贸易的层面看,上半年海峡两岸经香港的转口贸易总额达34亿多美元,比去年同期增长34％。两岸间接贸易额从1979年的不足5000万美元起步,到去年底,累计贸易额已达216亿美元,13年间,增幅惊人。贸易额的高速成长充分证明两岸经贸发展的互补、互利、互需性。
After several spring surges, it broke the strong ice that has separated the two sides for several decades. Since the beginning of this year, the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait have swept the mainland by the spring breeze of Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s visit to the south. The reform and opening up has lifted the tide again, and the heat waves have swelled the world’s attention. From the trade perspective, the total re-export trade between Hong Kong and Taiwan across the Taiwan Strait during the first half of the year reached more than US$3.4 billion, an increase of 34% over the same period of last year. The amount of cross-strait indirect trade started from less than 50 million U.S. dollars in 1979. By the end of last year, the accumulated trade volume had reached 21.6 billion U.S. dollars. In 13 years, the increase was staggering. The rapid growth of trade volume fully demonstrates the complementarity, mutual benefit, and mutual needs of cross-strait economic and trade development.
