武钢在冶金部稀土办直接领导下,在深化企业改革的基础上,依靠技术进步,充分利用我国稀土资源丰富得天独厚的优势,大力推广稀土在钢中的应用。1988年武钢稀土处理钢产量达161986吨,提前两年完成国家科委下达的年产10万吨的“七五”攻关任务。大型钢锭模内吊挂稀土棒的工艺技术也通过了冶金部转产鉴定。武钢一炼钢厂过去采用钢包内加1~#稀土合金,稀土利用率低而且很不稳定,易堵水口,给浇铸带来困难。采用模内吊挂稀土棒可避免水口结瘤,稀土利用率高,稀土在钢中分布均匀并显著改善了钢材的机械性能,从而取消了钢包内加1~#稀土合金工艺,推动
Under the direct leadership of Rare Earth Office of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, on the basis of deepening enterprise reform, WISCO relies on technological progress and makes full use of the abundant advantages of rare earth resources in our country to promote the application of rare earth in steel.
