李宁男,1957年10月出生,四川成都人,中共党员。1977年考入华中工学院铸造专业,1982年以优异成绩毕业,获学士学位;随后留校进行硕士研究生学习,以及特种合金方面的研究和开发工作。1984年获硕士学位,接着被分配到成都科技大学(现四川大学)任教,1991年破格提升为副教授。1994年～1998年任四川大学金属材料系主任、制造科学与工程学院功能材料研究所所长。1995年破格晋升为教授,1997年后师从中国工程院涂铭旌院士,攻读并获材料学博士学位。2001年被评为博士生导师。2003年出任“先进材料成型及模具技术四川省重点实验室”主任,为四川大学材料成型及控制工程专业学科带头人。
Li Ning Male, born in October 1957, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, member of the Communist Party of china. He was admitted to the foundry major of Huazhong Institute of Technology in 1977 and graduated with honors in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree. Later, he stayed for a master’s degree program and special alloy research and development work. In 1984 by a master’s degree, then assigned to Chengdu University of Science and Technology (now Sichuan University) taught in 1991, upgraded to associate professor. From 1994 to 1998, he was director of the Department of Metal Materials of Sichuan University and director of Institute of Functional Materials for Manufacturing Science and Engineering. In 1995, he was promoted to be a professor. After 1997, he studied and obtained a doctorate degree in materials science from the academician Tu Mingjing of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. In 2001 was named a doctoral tutor. In 2003 as “advanced materials molding and mold technology in Sichuan Province Key Laboratory ” director, Sichuan University material forming and control engineering discipline leader.
