The International Economic Cooperation Organization is a loosely-organized group of developed countries in the world. The organization is a platform for member states to exchange information, explore, develop and perfect economic and social policy venues. At the beginning of the OECD, an industrial committee was set up to help member countries carry out post-World War II reconstruction and to consolidate the existing free enterprise system in Western Europe. With the economic development and changes in the world situation, the committee’s functions have also been constantly adjusted. In 2000, the committee’s name was officially renamed the Committee on Industrial and Commercial Environment, marking a major change in the scope of the OECD’s industrial policy and related work
