作者就钛种植体表面形成牙周膜的可能性做了一系列的研究。其中动物实验发现圆柱蛩钛种植体与保留的猴牙根面接触后能形成与天然牙相似的牙周膜,且牙周膜在种植体表面出现了牙周附着,即形成了新生牙骨质及牙周纤维,证实了造牙骨质细胞存在于牙周膜内,而不在牙槽骨中。一般认为种植体与周围骨的理想愈合为骨性愈合,但这种愈合不能使牙齿产生正常的生理移动,来减轻(牙合)方和侧向力。作者最新研究揭示在自攻自断型钛种植体周围可以形成牙周膜。材料与方法选7只成年猴,术前麻醉,颊舌向摇动(?)使之根折,用球钻磨除冠部牙根,仅保留根尖3~4mm长,将粘骨膜瓣翻开,冠方推移,严密缝合,
