By the Shanghai Ocean University (formerly the Shanghai Fisheries University) College of Fisheries and Life Yan Hing Hong (left) Professor led the completion of the “altar new varieties of seaweed breeding, promotion and processing technology,” won the 2011 National Science and Technology Progress Award . The project made a number of theoretical and technological breakthroughs in the basic genetics of algae, the breeding of elite seeds and the promotion of elite varieties. This award is recognized by the state for its painstaking research on Yan Xinghong and others for more than 30 years. Yan Xinghong resume Dr. Yan Xinghong, the incumbent Shanghai Ocean University professor and doctoral tutor.
