本文阐述了作为多距离段雷达信号检测用的双级检测器,这类检测器利用广义符号和四分层条件统计量,它们是恒定虚警率(CFAR)检测器。对其性能进行了估计,并和单级型的检测器作了比较。如果无目标或有目标存在(无论哪一种)的先验概率较大(接近于1),利用双级检验具有降低所需样本数的优点,而不影响检测概率。通过参数的优选还可得到功效的明显改善。还推导了双级检测器相对于单级检测器的渐近相对效率,并估算了某些数值结果。
This article describes two-stage detectors used for multi-range radar signal detection. These detectors utilize the generalized symbol and the quad-layer conditional statistics, which are constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detectors. Its performance was estimated and compared with a single-stage detector. If there is a priori probability of no target or target existence (whichever) is larger (close to 1), the use of bi-level test has the advantage of reducing the required number of samples without affecting the detection probability. A significant improvement in efficacy can also be obtained by optimizing the parameters. The asymptotic relative efficiency of a two-stage detector to a single-stage detector is also deduced and some numerical results are estimated.
