对近年来国际上的碳氧同位素在海洋环境和气候方面的最新研究进展作一综述.对海洋有孔虫、珊瑚、散态有机碳和总有机碳的研究表明,碳氧同位素是环境反演的替代性指标.研究认识历史时期海温、降水、冰川、温室气体CO2浓度及厄尔尼诺等的气候环境变迁,目的在于探索气候变化的驱动机制和响应机理,科学地预测未来全球气候环境的变化趋势,具有重大的理论意义和现实意义.
