大柴胡汤出自仲景《伤寒卒病论》,由柴胡、黄芩、芍药、半夏、生姜、大枣、枳实、大黄等八味药组成;主治少阳、阳明并病,证见往来寒热,胸胁苦满,心烦喜呕,胸腹胀硬,大便干结或协热下利,苔黄,脉弦。笔者用此方治高热、呕烦、眩晕、痞满、腹痛、热毒、火眼、胁痛、暑厥、心悸等十种病证,略
Dachaihutang comes from Zhongjing’s “Treatise on Cold Death” and consists of Bupleurum, Radix Astragali, Peony, Pinellia, Ginger, Jujube, Poria, Rhubarb and other eight flavors; Indications of Shaoyang, Yangming, and disease, see Cold and heat exchanges, chest pain and bitterness, upset and hi vomiting, chest and abdominal distension, hard stools, dry stools or conjunctival fever, moss yellow, pulse string. The author used this prescription to treat ten kinds of illnesses such as high fever, vomiting, dizziness, fullness, abdominal pain, heat poisoning, fire eyes, hypochondriac pain, heat shock and heart palpitations.
