福克纳与沈从文分别通过对美国南方文化和中国湘西文化的探索,形成了对各自地域文化的独特看法。以分析心理学原型批判理论为工具,分析福克纳和沈从文代表作中的典型意象,阐述福克纳和沈从文地域文化观,进而研究形成两人地域文化观的时代因素及其必然性。福克纳和沈从文试图从农业文明中寻求对都市的文化救赎。两个国家所处的不同历史阶段决定了福克纳和沈从文不同的思想归宿。
Faulkner and Shen Congwen respectively through the exploration of American southern culture and Chinese western culture, formed a unique view of their own regional culture. This paper analyzes the typical images of Faulkner and Shen Congwen’s critical works by analyzing the critical theory of psychology prototype, expounds the regional cultural views of Faulkner and Shen Congwen, and then studies the times and the inevitability of the formation of the two regional cultural views. Faulkner and Shen Congwen tried to seek the cultural salvation of the city from the agricultural civilization. The different historical stages in which the two countries are located determine the different fate of Faulkner and Shen Congwen.
