经济文化全球的浪潮下,科学教育和人文教育已成为我国21世纪高等教育的必然。这就要求英语教学要融入中国文化内容。但是,在以应试教育为重心的教学体系中,忽视了文化教学,尤其是中国文化教学,最终结果是学生走上职业岗位后英语文化能力偏低,难以适应社会和经济的发展。因此在高职英语教学中,对文化教育教学的引进迫在眉睫,也向广大英语教师提出了新的挑战。
Under the wave of global economic and cultural education, science education and humanistic education have become the inevitable result of China’s 21st century higher education. This requires English teaching to be integrated into Chinese cultural content. However, in the teaching system centered on exam-oriented education, cultural teaching, especially Chinese cultural teaching, was neglected. The end result is that the students’ English cultural ability is too low to adapt to the social and economic development after they embark on a professional position. Therefore, in vocational English teaching, the introduction of cultural education and teaching is imminent, and it also poses new challenges to English teachers.
