Forty years ago, Rebecca was determined to leave his hometown in Foshan to marry the poor painter Yu Guohong despite his family’s obstruction and opposition. Forty years later, both of them settled in Macao lovingly and their sons have grown up. Currently, Rebecca and her husband are their own bosses. They live in a semi-retirement life and live in 2,600 square feet of invincible sea view mansions and admire others. The turning point in their life took place in the Ruins of the Ruins. At that time they both opened a shop selling ancient paintings and antique furniture in their junior year. The women were responsible for running the business. The men were responsible for repairing the old paintings. Witnessed by the landmark “Sansba Bay” in Macao, the hardships have endured in the past decades and remain unspeakable. 100 years ago St. Paul Church fire, severely burned, leaving only the front front wall. More than 100 years later, the front wall surviving the rest of the world survived the same hardships as the hard-won and unforgettable love in the world. For both of them, the Ruins of the Ruins so far have been like the spiritual pillars they have endured in their worst moments.
