倾斜进给磨削是一种高效加工方法,但其缺点是,加工中即便使用大量的冷却液,有时在工件的肩角部位仍会发生表面烧伤。苏联乌里扬诺夫斯克工业学院的研究人员发现,利用超声振动可以显著改善冷却液的效率,从而克服上述缺点。所用装置很简单只不过是一个经过适当设计而能产生超声振动的导向喷嘴。
Tilting feed grinding is an efficient method of machining, but has the disadvantage that surface burns can occur at the shoulder corners of the workpieces even when large amounts of coolant are used during machining. Researchers at the Ulyanovsk Institute of Technology in the Soviet Union have found that the use of ultrasonic vibrations can significantly improve the efficiency of the coolant and thus overcome the above drawbacks. The device used is simply a guided nozzle that is designed to generate ultrasonic vibrations.
