It is generally believed that the halal newspaper office was born in 11 years (1922) before and after the Republic of China. However, newly discovered data confirm that the society existed at least 30 years before the Guangxu (1904), except that the name differed. The society from the early Republic of China experienced the development of Wan Quan Tong, Wan Quan Bookstore, Muslim Publishing House and Muslim newspapers in four stages. Among them, in the eight years of the Republic of China (1919), the manager of the halal newspaper office set about establishing a halal library. This idea was a pioneering act in the history of the development of Islam in China. Unfortunately, it failed. In the meantime, with the support of the outside world, the halal newspapers and magazines have been on the right track. Over 200 titles of Chinese books have been published, occupying an important position in the publishing industry of Islamic China. In addition to printing books, the chief executive of the Muslim newspaper also supported his son and Niujie Muslim intellectuals in establishing “Halal Weekly” “Right Path” and “Morning Herald” for nearly 25 years before and after, and also played a certain role in the history of Islamic newspapers in China.
