新疆和田县位于喀喇昆仑山北麓,塔克拉玛干沙漠南缘。光热水土资源比较丰富,很适宜种植葡萄,是自治区无核白葡萄生产基地之一。据1989年统计,全县葡萄面积达64833亩,总产为35460吨。为了充分发挥土地的生产潜力,他们在农田道路旁边种植葡萄,利用道路空间搭成大棚架,形成雄伟壮观的葡萄长廊。1984～1989年共建426.2公里。这种长廊式葡萄生产,在国内外均罕见,是发展葡萄生产的一条重要途径。
Hotan County, Xinjiang is located in the northern foot of Karakoram, Taklamakan desert south edge. Photovoltaic rich soil and water resources, it is suitable for planting grapes, is one of the autonomous region without nuclear white grape production base. According to the statistics of 1989, the area of grape in the county reached 64,833 mu with a total output of 35460 tons.
