肾病综合征是西医名词,临床上属中医水肿、腰痛病的范畴。中医辨证多属脾肾气(阳)虚,水湿潴留。治疗应以温肾健脾利水为主。但是此病属疑难重证,单纯用中医治疗虽然水肿能很快消退,但是大量蛋白尿和低蛋白血症,高脂血症却长期不愈。目前临床上常用肾上腺皮质激素治疗此病。经激素治疗后一些病例在 Nephrotic syndrome is a term of Western medicine, clinical Chinese medicine edema, low back pain areas.
