漳州有水仙花、八寶印泥、片仔癀、芗剧（歌仔戏）、木版年画、木偶戏……其中木偶戏的历史可以说最为久远，可以追溯到开漳圣王陈元光时代。我们梳理一下历史的脉络后发现，也许漳州的第一个木偶和木偶雕刻者就是跟着陈元光从河南来到这里。
那年，陈元光和他五十八个姓氏近万部属，带着遥远的河洛印记，在这里建立了一座城市，从此，祖厝故居、庙宇宫观、山水桥栈、埠头港口、耕读渔樵……逐一铺开，缓缓地，又仿佛是眨眼间的功夫，陈元光拈须一笑，往事已越千年。
漫步漳州古城，在这里看见木偶头的雕刻，看见布袋木偶的表演，看见传统武术的风采。我们在文庙拜祭圣人，慎终追远；我们寻踪千年古傩神话，身随心动；我们歌唱新时代，开启古城新征程。
Zhangzhou has narcissus， Babao ink pad， Pien Tze Huang， Xiang opera， New Year Woodblock Painting， puppet show... Puppet show boasts the longest history， dating back to the time of General Chen Yuanguang， the holy founder of Zhangzhou. After studying the historical trace， we found that maybe the first puppet and puppet sculptor followed General Chen Yuanguang from Henan Province all the way to Zhangzhou.
That year， Chen Yuanguang and his nearly 10，000 subordinates of fifty-eight family names， with the far-off imprint of Heluo， built a city here. From then on， the ancestral home， temple and palaces， hills and rivers， bridges and plank roads， fields and gardens... one by one spread out slowly， in the blink of an eye， as if within General Chen Yuanguang’s gentle smile， a thousand years has past.
Stroll through the Old Town of Zhangzhou， you can see the carved heads of puppets， the performances of hand puppets and the charm of traditional martial arts. We worship the saints in the Confucious Temple and track the thousand-year-old myth. While following our hearts， we sing for the new era and kick start a new journey in the Old Town.
