PQ5244MD-215.9的钻头设计过程中,采用了φ16mm抗研磨性高的PDC切削齿、非对称螺旋五刀翼、加强保径和螺旋光滑保径等特征,是通过针对四川合川气田的地质分层特征开展PDC钻头的个性化设计研究的结果。PQ5244MD-215.9钻头在合川001-55-X3井从须四段钻穿须五段进入须六段,平均机械钻速9.03m/h,比同层段其他类型钻头提高2倍。PQ5244MD-215.9钻头机械钻速高、寿命长、导向性好,并具有可修复性。
