通常情况下,人会选择适合自己的职事。在古代社会里,一些君王对政事不感兴趣,却专注地做着文人的事业,由此招来不少讥斥;与之形成鲜明对比的是,许多极具文学才情和气质的士子却不愿或不屑做文人,一心想做政治家,结果多以失意告终。出现这种现象的主要原因是纯文学在当时不为人重视,做纯粹的文人不足以实现个人的价值取向。
