2001年随着《全日制义务教育音乐课程标准》的颁布实施,标志着我过基础教育音乐课程改革的全面展开,由此开始必将推动我国音乐教育改革的新进展。在新的背景环境下,大量的中小学音乐教师积极主动的投入到全新的音乐课程之中,音乐教育有了长足的进步。但农村中小学音乐教育作为我国音乐教育的重要领域,当前现状如何呢?本文正是通过对湘西所辖两区两县的农村中小学音乐教学整体状况深入细致的调查研究基础上,认真整理农村音乐教育的问题、不足,细致梳理问题形成的机制与原因,进而提出相应的解决措施与途径,以期促进湘西市农村中小学音乐教育的可持续发展,同时努力为全民音乐素质的提高提供可供借鉴的经验与样本。
