(Helping your kids to make their own Valentine Cards is fun and rewarding, and of course the cards mean so much more to the persons who receive them ... the perfect Valentine Day crafts for kids! We have a suggestion here, and it can be made very quickly if it is necessary for your child to take cards to school!)
Cut Out Card
This is a good card-making skill for kids to use for all sorts of occasions. You can make a flower card first, and then use a heart for Valentine’s Day, a Christmas tree for Christmas, and so on.
You will need:
Colored paper or card
Hole punch (打孔机), flower, heart, Christmas tree, etc.
Card blank
Glue
Instructions:
Punch out some shapes from along the edge of your card.
Cut a rectangle (a flat shape with four straight sides, two of which are longer than the other two, and four angles of 90°) of fancy paper the height of your card and a few centimetres wide.
Glue the rectangle to the back piece of your card. Cut any overhanging edges.
Cut out a shape from the colored paper to match your punch. Glue to the front of your card.
