按照中国传统的文艺观,兴盛于元代的曲(即一般意义上的散曲与杂剧的总称),是古代韵文中比较具有俚俗味道的东西,因而,不被传统的主流文学所看重。这自然涉及到一个雅与俗的问题。需要指出的是,雅与俗虽然确实是处于同一范畴中的相对概念,但却并非一般意义上的对立关系。雅并不等同于高雅,俗也不能等同于低俗。雅与俗之间其实并不存在
According to the traditional Chinese literary concept, the music flourished in the Yuan Dynasty (that is, the general term for “Sanqu” and “Zaju” in the general sense) is something vulgar and ancient in the ancient rhyme and therefore is not valued by the traditional mainstream literature. This naturally involves a problem of elegance and vulgarity. What needs to be pointed out is that although Ya and vulgar are indeed relative concepts in the same category, they are not antagonistic relations in the general sense. Ya is not equivalent to elegant, vulgar can not be equated with vulgar. In fact, between Ya and vulgar does not exist
