In this paper, the contents of Cu, Pb, Cd, Zn, Fe, Mn and other trace elements in serum of 213 patients with cerebral infarction were determined by the method of differential potentiometry and compared with 69 healthy controls. The results showed that the serum levels of Fe and Mn in each patient group were not significantly different from those in the normal group, and the contents of Pb and Cd were significantly higher than those in the normal group (P <0.01). The Cu / Zn ratio in the patients with acute cerebral infarction (within 5 days) (P <0.01), but the ratio of Cu / Zn decreased gradually with the prolongation of time. The levels of Cu in the convalescence (31-60 days) and cerebral infarction sequelae were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05) ), And the ratio of Cu / Zn was much lower than that of the control group (P <0.01). The effect of Pb and Cd and Cu / Zn ratio on the disease was compared by Feisher discriminant analysis. The contribution rate of Pb was 19.5% , The contribution rate of Cd was 41.3%, the contribution rate of Cu / Zn ratio was 39.2%, and the diagnostic coincidence rate was 96.25%.
