2015年,由武汉邮科院光纤通信技术和网络国家重点实验室与烽火通信、光迅科技联合开展的超高速超大容量超长距离光传输基础研究取得了最新成果,实现200Tbit/s超大容量波分复用与模分复用的光传输。这是继100.23Tb/s超大容量传输80公里实验入选两院院士评出的2014年国内十大科技进展新闻之后在容量指标上的又一重要突破。
