Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect and neurological deficit of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH) with minimally invasive drilling and drainage. Methods The data of 120 HICH patients from January 2014 to January 2016 were divided into study group and control group, with 60 cases in each group. The study group implemented minimally invasive drilling and drainage, and the control group received craniotomy. The operation indexes, preoperative and postoperative hematoma volume, and NIHSS and ADL scores were observed. Results The operation time, bleeding volume and hospital stay in the study group were less than those in the control group (P <0.05). The hematoma volume in the study group was lower than that of the control group on the 1st, P <0.05). The scores of NIHSS and ADL in the study group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage in patients with minimally invasive drilling drainage is superior to the traditional craniotomy hematoma removal, has a high clinical value.
