In this paper the expression of the excess molar isentropic compressibility of liquid mixture andthe formula for sound velocity in a mixture of weak interaction are suggested.The sound velocities inthirty six binary liquid mixtures of weak interaction are calculated.The result shows that the agree-ment between calculated and experimental values of sound velocity is quite satisfactory.The pheno-menon for minimum sound velocity in binary liquid mixtures is explained with the help of the formulafor sound velocity.
