Longsheng Water Power Co., Ltd. achieved new breakthroughs in economic efficiency by improving its service facilities, expanding its marketing market and strengthening power grid management. From January to October 2004, a total of 52 million kwh was supplied to Guilin Power Grid. Hydropower is one of the pillars of economic and social development in Longsheng. In recent years, hydropower development has been developing rapidly. In 1998, only 11 state-owned hydropower stations such as Lehuang and Xijiangping in the county had a total installed capacity of 21,000
