本文报告了维生素E(VE)对老龄小鼠免疫反应及肝脏脂质过氧化作用的影响。3个月幼龄小鼠和18个月老龄小鼠各饲以含VE 500ppm和30ppm饲料8周后,测定血清中VE浓度,脾细胞转化反应和肝脏过氧化脂质(LPO)含量。结果表明,饲以合500PPmVE饲料的老龄小鼠脾细胞对刀豆蛋白A(ConA)和脂多糖(LPS)的反应及血清VE浓度均比饲以含30ppmVE饲料者显著增高(P<0.01),肝脏LPO含量却明显降低(P<0.01),膳食VE对老龄小鼠血清VE及肝脏LPO的影响明显高于幼龄鼠。
This article reports the effect of vitamin E (VE) on immune response and hepatic lipid peroxidation in aged mice. Three months old and 18-month-old mice were fed with 500 ppm and 30 ppm VE for 8 weeks. Serum VE concentration, spleen cell transformation reaction and liver lipid peroxide (LPO) content were measured. The results showed that the response of ConA and LPS to spleen cells of aged mice fed with 500 ppm of VE diet and serum VE concentration were significantly higher than those fed with 30 ppm VE diet (P<0.01). Liver LPO content was significantly decreased (P<0.01). The effect of dietary VE on serum VE and liver LPO was significantly higher in aged mice than in young rats.
