Cylinder liners are an important part of air compressors and internal combustion engines. Reducing the roughness value of the inner surface of the cylinder liner is very important for improving the wear resistance of the inner surface of the cylinder liner, prolonging its service life and improving the working efficiency of the complete machine. At present, most of the manufacturers of cylinder liners are using the method of emery cylinder liner to reduce the surface roughness. However, with this method, the emery cloth can easily be worn and broken. The processing effect is not stable, the working conditions of workers are poor. Therefore, there is an urgent need of a new polishing method which is good in polishing quality, high in efficiency, low in cost and convenient in use to satisfy the needs of actual production
